There are nine Grammar Schools in Birmingham with just over 1000 places available for children aged 11. To gain entry to Year 7, pupils must sit an entrance exam. There is only one exam which will be held by all schools in the consortium on the same day. To arrange to sit the exam, parents must complete an online registration form.
The two main Grammar Schools in Walsall have 270 places for children aged 11. To gain entry to year 7, pupils must sit an entrance exam. The exam is likely to be held around September 2019, shortly after the Birmingham Consortium exam.
